<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Katian-Lower Hirnantian deposits of the Upper Ordovician on the Bolshaya Kosyu River in the Northern Urals are subdivided into three lithostratigraphic units: reef massif B. Kosyu, Yaptikshor, and VerhnyRuchei formations. The latter formation has been allocated for the first time. Detailed descriptions of the sequence and its facies characteristic are given. The first data on conodonts from the B. Kosyu Riverenable to determine the stratigraphic accumulation interval of the sequence, to assess the biogeographical features and biofacies confinement of the studied deposits.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>местные литостратиграфические подразделения</kwd><kwd>фации</kwd><kwd>рифы</kwd><kwd>верхний ордовик</kwd><kwd>катийский ярус</kwd><kwd>хирнантский ярус</kwd><kwd>конодонты</kwd><kwd>Северный Урал</kwd><kwd>р. Большая Косью</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>local lithostratigraphic units</kwd><kwd>facies</kwd><kwd>reefs</kwd><kwd>Upper Ordovician</kwd><kwd>Katian Stage</kwd><kwd>Hirnantian Stage</kwd><kwd>conodonts</kwd><kwd>Northern Ural</kwd><kwd>Bolshaya Kosyu River</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Авторы выражают благодарность китайскому коллеге Qijian Li (Университет г.
